About the Rose Quartz

Rose quartz takes its soft pink from traces of other minerals locked in the crystal as it grew. Across a slab this size the pink is never even: it gathers into milky clouds, thins to near clear, and is crossed by paler veils.

The stone is translucent where it runs thin, so daylight from the side travels into the edge and lifts the pink out of it. Under a lamp the same top reads denser.

How It’s Made

The top is one slab of rose quartz, kept on the outline the stone gave it rather than cut to a circle, so the edge rises and dips around the table. That edge is finished in electroformed metal, grown onto the stone in a bath until it has real thickness and is bonded to the quartz itself, never a leaf or coating that rubs off. The legs are electroformed to match. Rose gold follows the stone's own color, silver cools it, gold reads warmer.

Slight variation in natural stone will occur, so the run of cloud and vein belongs to that top alone.

Assembly

The legs are removable and the table is easily assembled on delivery. The slab ships as one piece with the legs packed apart from it; they fix to the underside and come off again for flat storage.

Care

Dust with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Soak up a spill at once with a paper towel and wipe the stone dry so it does not stain, and keep chemical cleaners off it.
