Large Green Agate Cheese Platter/Tray - 10"x15"

A long serving board at 10"x15", cut from a single slab of green stone, with a thick metal edge round the outside.

The green is deep, close to forest, and pale and ochre veining branches across it in bands, so the face looks more like moss under water than like a flat color.

Using It

Cheese and crackers, charcuterie, fruit, chocolate. Stone stays cool, which helps a soft cheese hold its shape on a warm afternoon. Cut on a separate board rather than on the stone, so a knife does not leave a line in the polish. Wipe with a damp cloth and dry it. Never the dishwasher. The metal edge will not wear through at the corners the way a plated finish does.
