Large Pink Agate Cheese Platter/Tray

A serving board cut from a single slab of pink agate, in Medium 8"x6" or Large 11"x7", with a thick metal edge round the outside.

The magenta is not laid down evenly: it runs strongest toward the outer part of the face and fades paler and whiter toward the middle, with cloudy white patches through it.

Every piece uses natural stone, so slight variation in color, marking, shape and size will occur.

Using It

Cheese and crackers, charcuterie, fruit, chocolate. Stone stays cool, which helps a soft cheese hold its shape on a warm afternoon. Cut on a separate board rather than on the stone, so a knife does not leave a line in the polish. Wipe with a damp cloth and dry it. Never the dishwasher. The metal edge will not wear through at the corners the way a plated finish does.
