Large Composite Green Agate Cheese Platter/Tray 10"x15"

A long serving board at 10"x15", its face built from squared pieces of green agate fitted together, with a metal edge round the outside.

The pieces are cut square and set side by side, so the face is a grid of tones: deep teal, near-black green, and pale patches where the stone turns white and crystalline.

Every piece uses natural stone, so slight variation in color, marking, shape and size will occur.

Using It

Put out cheese, cured meat, fruit or chocolate on it, or use it as a tray for bottles and glasses on a sideboard. Cut elsewhere and bring the pieces over, since a knife edge will mark the polish. Wipe with a damp cloth and dry it straight after, and keep it out of the dishwasher. The metal edge will not wear through with handling.
